The hunting bag on the pics and the movie is not the result of modern-age creativity, but originates from the 18. Century. These bags which could be used conveniently as a rifle bag, and ammunition bag as well as well were pretty popular at one time. The sharpshooters of the K.u.K. border guard Battalions used a very similar bag for their rifled Jägerstützen and Doppelstützen guns. The expensive precision rifles had high value, and the army made extra efforts to protect them. In graphics of the 18-19. century we saw many similar bags carried by hunters.  First, it was possible to put the rifle into it for the case of wrong weather or during transportation, second, it was possible to slip the shot small game to its expellable bag.

This type also has good use in hunting even today. It’s enough just to pull a thin leather sleeve on the barrel and we can carry and transport the gun in the same package, we don’t not have to take care of a separate carrying case for transportation.

We designed it to accommodate and fit the heavier barrel guns  (i.e. Pedersoli Mortimer, Missouri River Hawken, Tryon, stb…) as well perfectly.
